Budget Host Inn & Suites ( Formerly Lincoln Host Motor Inn)

My daughter, granddaughters and I were heading to lower Michigan for my bil's funeral when my car decided to act up. It wasn't going to be able to be looked at until the next day. That's when someone local recommended Lincoln Host Motor Inn. I hadn't planned on this extra expense, but I was able to make a reservation for a very reasonable price. When it came time to check out we were still waiting to hear back from the mechanic. We packed everything up and asked if we could wait in the lobby. Luckily, the owner showed up and said we could go back into "our" room as long as we needed to. I was so thankful because my granddaughters, ages almost 2 and 4 weren't going to sit patiently while we were trying to. The best part was the employee at the desk wasn't bothered by them because she was a mom herself. This is not your typical review, yes, the bed was comfortable, the room was very clean, and the hospitality was AMAZING! I would definitely stay there again.

I picked this hotel based on the price and location, and it was exactly what I needed. I prefer a firm bed like these mattresses, and I appreciated the recliner in the room. It was pretty quiet except for some road noise, but I slept well enough that I stayed again a week later on my way back through!

Very good experience. We are early risers so we had to go to the gas station next door for coffee. It would have been nice to have a coffee maker available to make coffee or have the lobby open to get coffee at an early hour say 4:30 am or so.

Even though ownership changed a few years back, this hotel is still is my go to destination. Polite staff, clean and always consistent pricing.

Rooms area bit dated but very clean and quiet. Old style AC that can't run continuously so it's start and stop all night long (an issue if you're a light sleeper). Overall, though, certainly a good value for the money for a short term stay.

The room was very clean. There was not any shampoo or conditioner so you may need to bring your own. I did not inquire, so not sure if they offer it, I had my own.

Stopped for night. Pleasantly surprised. Very clean hotel. Bed and pillow was a little stiff, pretty much only thing not giving it a 5 star. But rather happy with our stay. Had an old dated hotel feel and look in the room, still a very nice room though. Walls had no scratches or marks. Bathroom was very clean. Great price. Microwave and mini fridge. Fastfood in walking Distance. If we are ever passing through and need a place to sleep, would definitely stay here again. Next time I'll pay a little more and get the bigger bed

This budget hotel has a charming and classic exterior. The moment you step into the room, it feels warm and cozy. The room is quite spacious, with gentle lighting and a peaceful atmosphere. The water pressure is strong, making for a great shower experience. It truly gives a sense of being at home. The front desk staff are friendly and polite, offering excellent service. The price is extremely affordable and totally worth it — truly great value for money. I really like the relaxing and comfortable feeling this hotel provides.
